Last week I went to the farmers’ market for ramps and instead discovered green shallots. Wish I could get back today for more. They have a chives-scallion-like flavor and are excellent in stir-fries.

Lucky you! Wish I lived closer to a farmers market!
But we do have a nice Asian Market and some of their produce is home grown, so I’ll have to check
and see whats new.
I’m on day 2 with soy bean sprouts…they look good!
