Share Your Wok Story | The
Breath of a Wok
In the process of researching and writing my books I've had the great
privilege to meet cooks who not only generously share their recipes but have
told me incredible culinary stories.
I'm interested in hearing your comments
on my books, but also your stories and recipes. I'd love to hear:
-how you learned to use a wok
-your memories of how your family cooked with a wok
-your family's recipes for seasoning a wok
-interesting ways you've found to cook with a wok
E-mail me at: wisdom@graceyoung.com
P.S. I have been trying to locate vintage photographs or lithographs of the
wok being used in mining camps, railroad camps, and Chinatown in the 19th
century but all wok photographs are of interest. If you know of any sources
please let me know.
